Tips and Notes from Testers
– Several testers were ‘beginners’; this was their first test-knit and their first time working with lace. While they were intimidated at first, they quickly caught on!

Definitely swatch a 4×4″ stockinette square before beginning! Then wash and block that swatch to ensure your gauge matches the blocked gauge in the pattern.

– For a fun twist, try two strands of fingering weight yarn!

– To ensure your ‘long-loops’ are long enough, you could use double-pointed-needles (DPNs), or even a crochet-hook!

– Count your stitches between markers to ensure you’re on the right track – there should always be 10 sts on rounds without long loops.
